MUS 185 - Applied Music - Percussion
Teaches fundamentals of percussion instruments. Studies the standard repertoire. Private lessons are available for either 1 or 2 hours of credit per semester. The length of the lessons will be 1/2 hour for 1 hour credit and 1 hour for 2 hours credit per semester. All courses in applied music may be repeated for a total of 8 hours for the major and 4 hours for the minor. 1-2 half-hour lessons per week, 4-8 hours practice (laboratory) required.

Corey Sittinger teaches percussion and or drum set. Contact professor Sittinger directly to ask for availability: csittinger@nvcc.edu. Classes meet on-campus, on the days, times scheduled with the professor. This is a 1 credit, applied one-on-one instruction lesson, music course that meets for 35 min each week. Please be advised that there is an associated applied fee ($450) for this class to be paid to the college.
