PHT 201 - Advanced Photography I
Provides weekly critiques of students' work. Centers on specific problems found in critiques. Includes working procedures and critical skills in looking at photographs. Part I of II.
Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 5 hours per week.
Prerequisite: PHT 102 or equivalent.

Includes both classroom meetings and significant additional online work, which replaces some classroom time. Class meets face-to-face every week as scheduled. Please note: As of Fall 2023, Adobe Creative Cloud subscriptions are no longer offered for free through NOVA. Students need to purchase their own license for successful completion of the course work. A limited number of computers with access to Adobe will be available in designated computer labs.

Includes inkjet printing, extensive use of Lightroom Classic software, or work in the B&W darkroom. Access to a digital or film camera with fully adjustable manual controls is required.
