- INS 110 - Principles of Instrumentation
- Introduces various types of instruments and gauges used in the manufacturing processes. Examines basic principles of pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic and mechanically operated devices. Requires a report as an out-of-class activity.Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 4 hours per week.
3 credits - INS 232 - System Troubleshooting
- Presents system troubleshooting theory and real troubleshooting applications. Uses a hands-on approach to provide troubleshooting experience in multiple areas such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), control automation systems and process control systems.Lecture 2-3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 5-6 hours per week. 2-3 Credits.
