ART 140 replaces ART 180. ART 140 serves as an introduction to Communication Design and Computer Graphics. Topics include the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and especially InDesign), design practice, printing, color, and file management. This course uses specific software and will require compatible hardware to accommodate instruction and completion of required assignments. These are the minimum software and hardware requirements needed for this class: Minimum computer and software packages are available in the bookstore.
