Prepares for certification as an Advanced Cardiac Life provider. Follows course as defined by the American Heart Association.

General Course Purpose
The course covers the assessment and management of cardiovascular and neurovascular emergencies.
Course Prerequisites/Corequisites
Prerequisite: EMS 100 or equivalent
Course Objectives
- Utilize patient assessment findings to formulate a field impression for patients with cardiac emergencies.
- Utilize current AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) guidelines to determine and Implement the treatment plan for these patients.
