The Associate of Applied Science in Associate of Applied Science Degree in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is part of the Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) program at Blue Ridge Community College

The Associate of Applied Science Degree in Emergency Medical Services is designed to produce high-quality, entry-level paramedics who can serve the community with advanced life support care via the National Emergency Medical Services Education Standards (NEMSES). Program graduates are eligible to sit for the National Registry Paramedic cognitive and psychomotor examination which will make them eligible for certification in Virginia.
