- Introduces Newton's Laws, resultants and equilibrium of force systems, analysis of trusses and frames. Teaches determination of centroids, distributed loads and moments of inertia. Covers dry friction and force systems in space.Lecture 3 hours per week.

This course combines real-time instruction (days/times established) using Zoom (desktop web-conferencing software) and online instruction (using Canvas). Students may be required to supply their ear buds with webcam or headset/mic to participate in this class. Class sessions are recorded and with proper equipment and training, students may connect from off campus or in 5212. |
