SOC 211 - Cultural Anthropology
Examines the origins, development, research, diversification and evolution of human cultures. Includes exposure to the variability of both Western and Non-Western aspects of culture. Provides an introduction to the nature of culture and its relationship to various social institutions and societies. This is a Passport and UCGS transfer course.
Lecture 3 hours. Total 3 hours per week.

NOVA Online courses are 100% online requiring students to have reliable access to a computer and internet service. Assignment due dates can be found in the syllabus. This is a fast-paced accelerated 4th 7-week course. Focuses on Cultural Anthropology. A mandatory one-time online orientation meeting will be held the first week of classes, date and time TBA. The meeting will be recorded for students who are unable to attend. Starts March 25.
