PHT 228 - Professional Practices for Photographers
Prepares students of photography and video to start and operate a professional practice. This is an advanced course for students who wish to be self-employed as photographers and/or videographers.
Lecture 3 hours. Total 3 hours per week.

No prerequisites. Introduces fundamentals of professional practice for self-employed photographers. Includes planning, pricing, contract negotiation, digital asset management, marketing, and legal concerns specific to professional photography and video services.

Fifteen Week
50% of class time is live streamed via Zoom; students are expected to attend class via Zoom on the days and times listed on the schedule. 50% of class work is completed online, independently, via CANVAS. Reliable internet access and a computer are required.
