The Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Engineering Technology program provides students
with a comprehensive education in engineering technology, preparing them for entry into or continued
employment in various engineering fields or for articulation to a university or college to pursue a Bachelor
of Science degree in engineering technology. A strong emphasis is placed on applications, problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. The Industrial Engineering Technology major is designed to teach students how to improve processes and systems within manufacturing and industrial settings. Graduates are prepared for entry-level employment in manufacturing, engineering, and industrial services companies. Career Studies Certificates are offered in Occupational Safety and Quality Assurance.
